Anyway, let's go to what we came...
The first step to be able to know if we should continue with this process of installing macOS Big Sur on an unsupported mac, we must know with which machines this new version is compatible first from the factory.
Hardware requirements
To find out the details of your Mac model, go to the Apple menu in the upper left corner and choose About This Mac. The following Mac models are compatible with macOS Big Sur:
MacBook (2015 or later)
MacBook Air (2013 or later)
MacBook Pro (Late 2013 or later)
Mac mini (2014 or later)
iMac (2014 or later)
iMac Pro (2017 or later)
Mac Pro (2013 or later)
You can go to see it directly from the official Apple website with the following link > Apple Big Sur - Compatibility.
Macs mostly / fully supported
By the way, with the exception of the Mac Pros, all the Macs in this section are officially compatible with Catalina. This section is basically "Macs not officially supported by Big Sur but with Metal support", with the exception of pre-2012 iMacs that have upgraded GPUs. (In fact, a 2011 iMac with an enhanced GPU is almost equivalent to this category. Older iMacs may have compatibility issues caused by other components - see below).
If you have a Mac from 2013 or later, first check Apple's official list of supported Mac models (look for "See If" on the page) to make sure you really need South Patched.
IMac late 2013: Everything should work (and after step 14, you're done, no need for step 15 and later). Note that there have been some reports of very poor performance with Fusion Drives on this model when running Big Sur, which may be the reason why Apple doesn't support Big Sur on this model.
Mac Pro 2010/2012: I have received positive feedback on this patch, but I don't know which features work perfectly and which ones don't. If I had to guess which features might be problematic, I would assume sleep and Wi-Fi. patch-kexts.sh (step 15) should fix Wi-Fi, but I don't know what effect it might have on the dream. (You need to update the graphics card, as you would for official macOS Mojave compatibility.)
Mac Pro 2009: Once updated to MacPro5.1 firmware, it should be equivalent to a Mac Pro 2010/2012. (As with those, you'll want to upgrade to a Mojave-compatible graphics card.) However, be aware that some people have had their MacPro4,1 flashed going into boot cycles during installation. We still don't know what causes this or why it only happens sometimes.
2012 MacBook Pro: Everything except WiFi works after installation, but there is a patch for it, so it will work fine with Big Sur.
Other Macs 2012/2013 - Most things should work after initial installation, except Wi-Fi (unless you've upgraded to an 802.11ac Wi-Fi card) or possibly GPU swap (on 15 "MacBook Pros Step 15 of the installation process fixes Wi-Fi support, but changing the GPU may not be a resolved issue yet.
Partially Compatible Macs
Most models that officially support High Sierra, but not Mojave, fall into this category. The exceptions are the mid-2010 15 "and 17" MacBook Pros (see the Incompatible category below) and possibly the late 2009 / mid 2010 iMacs (see the "Unknown Status" category below).
Note that 2009-2010 iMacs that have been updated with Metal GPUs also require certain kext patches that are not (yet?) Provided by this patch.
Mac 2011 - Various features may not work after initial installation (after step 14 completes), including sleep, screen brightness control, Wi-Fi (unless you have upgraded to a Wi-Fi card). -Fi 802.11ac) and graphics acceleration (unless you have upgraded the GPU in a 2011 iMac). With the exception of a GPU-enhanced 2011 iMac, the 2011 Mac models do not have graphics acceleration under Big Sur. Be sure to use the --2011 command line option in step 15. This fixes sound and Wi-Fi on all 2011 Macs. On 13 "MacBook Pros, it also fixes the brightness and sleep control, and install the correct frame buffer driver from Intel (this is not throttled yet, but it still increases the speed a bit, enough to make YouTube in full screen in Safari work with very little frame drops, although this connects both cores of CPU). Etc.
Well...
Once we have verified that our mac is compatible with the Big Sur patcher, as long as your mac is from 2012 onwards with metal you will be able to upgrade to Big Sur without any problems.
The first step is to download the Big Sur patch and the post-install, to create the usb with the installation image and then proceed with the update, since it cannot be done cleanly, a clean installation cannot be done by what you have to update the operating system, and something that I have not mentioned is that the OS that our mac should have before starting to install Big Sur is Catalina.
Download necesary files.
I'm going to assume that you already have a Mac from 2012 onwards and that you have Catalina already installed as your operating system. So, let's get started. The first thing we must do is go to the patch developer page to download the files we need to proceed with the creation of the installation media.
In the previous image we can see that in the developer's github there is a section that says "Release", we must go there to download the corresponding files and continue, first of all I want to clarify that this is done under your own responsibility and that I I am not responsible for what may happen to your computer, once this is clear, let's proceed straightforwardly.

Once we have gone there, we will have the following files from which we will download those that are pointed with the arrow.

We download them and the file that says "Post-Install-Extra.zip" and the one that says "Patched-Sur.dmg". Once that is done I will intuit that you have already formatted a USB of at least 16GB of storage, and with this we can really start with the easiest steps of all this.
After we have done all the steps that I have mentioned, we must proceed to unzip the post-install patcher file and open the file that it gives us. After having done this, we must execute the application that we have just obtained, this step will give you the link to the developer's page directly on his github where he himself explains how to do it to create the installation medium.
Get started with the update
I'm going to guess that you already know what the process is to be able to start the update and I will skip this so simple and famous step, but if not, the fact that you do not know or that you have never installed an operating system on macOS, I'll leave you this link with a guide on how to install macOS on a mac computer.
Be careful, something that is extremely important is that we should not erase the hard drive of our Mac, since we can damage some other file and how to avoid it, just like the fact that Christ is coming, because we can lose our files, which we have stored in our computer !!!!!
Once you have done all the steps of the update, what we must is configure the language, country and everything that asks us to start with all our old data on the pc that nothing is deleted, since this is an update. So, congratulations, you already have macOs Big Sur on your computer to enjoy all the news about Apple's operating system.
Enjoy
This tutorial is focused on people who have or do not have knowledge about installation of operating systems, and although I have said it before that someone who does not know anything can do it, because really if you do not have the necessary knowledge to carry out this guide I recommend that do not try to do anything without someone who knows about the subject, because you can cause some damage not only to the software but to the hardware of your machine, so I recommend that you do it under your responsibility and under the charge of someone who already knows about the subject Or else you can go to YouTube and look for tutorials that are very informative and explain everything step by step, but they will tell you the same thing that I am telling you right now.

I hope you enjoy this content! See you later, guys...
